Maharashtra Congress party to go solo in future elections

Nana Patole said that the Nationalist Congress Party stands with Sharad Pawar and supports his move of mobilizing all opposition parties and unite them against the BJP.

Faizpur (Jalgaon): Maharashtra Congress party chief Nana Patole announced today that the Congress party will contest future local body and assembly elections independently in Maharashtra.  

Addressing media during his northern Maharashtra tour, Patole said, “It is not wrong to strengthen organization. Every party has the right to expand their party base and contest election on its own.”

The Congress party is stands firm and will not back up from its decision.

Patole further states, “The cancellation of the OBC quota in local bodies is sin of previous BJP state government, and now they are misleading the people. However, the MVA government is trying to restore the quota.”

Nana Patole said that the Nationalist Congress Party stands with Sharad Pawar and supports his move of mobilizing all opposition parties and unite them against the BJP.
