J&K leaders meet to discuss PM’s all-party meeting

The National Conference (NC) is constituent of the Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration and reconfirmed to the party leaders present at the meeting, that Dr Abdullah will raise the demand for restauration of Article 370 and 35A, and no compromises will be made.

Srinagar: In preparation for the Prime Minister’s all-party meeting on Thursday in New Delhi, the National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah met with party leaders from Jammu & Kashmir in his residence in Gupka to discuss details.

The Provisional President Jammu Devender (PAGD) Singh Raina, Ajay Sadhotra, Sajjad Kitchloo and Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy were present at todays meeting, including NC General secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar.

The Party leaders in detail discussed Prime Minister’s invitation and did not hesitate to freely express their oppinions and views.

During the meeting Dr Abdullah gave feedback and reported from meetings he had with party functionaries from Leh, Kargil district and Kashmir valley.

Along with Dr Abdullah leaders from the Communist Party of India (M), Awami National Conference (ANC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement will attend the all-party meeting on Thursday.
