Citizen’s welfare last in priorities of BJP Govt

So, the Govt has the money to build themselves a spanking new office and a residence for Modi, but when it comes to paying the citizens of the country, whose livelihoods have been snatched and lives have been lost the same Govt doesn’t have any money.

The Modi Sarkar tells the Supreme Court that it cannot pay a Rs. 4 lakh compensation to the victims of Covid because the virus is not a “Natural Disaster”So, basically the Govt can invoke the Disaster Management Act to create a Nationwide Lockdown.

They can invoke the DMA to shut down all the industries, the businesses, small shops and any avenues under which the citizens can earn their livelihood, this denying the Citizens their fundamental right to life and livelihood.

They can use the DMA to beat up people who venture out, file charges and penalties against those who leave their homes, don’t wear masks, or break any rules.

They can use the DMA to forcefully quarantine you, mandate institutional quarantines without allowing your relatives to even see you. And yet when the time comes to pay compensation to the victims of Covid, it is no longer a Disaster? The same Disaster Management Act becomes redundant?

The Govt has declared an official count of 3.85 lakh deaths due to Covid. Considering a Rs. 4 lakh compensation per death, the total payment will be around Rs. 15,400 Crores. The current expenses being made on the Central Vista is in the excess of Rs. 20,000 Crores.

So, the Govt has the money to build themselves a spanking new office and a residence for Modi, but when it comes to paying the citizens of the country, whose livelihoods have been snatched and lives have been lost the same Govt doesn’t have any money.

Wah Modi Ji Wah In the order of priorities that this BJP Govt has, the well being of the citizens of the country come at the last rung of the ladder, if at all.
